The art of representation of foundation structures and the support structures such as columns, beams, walls and trusses on paper.
To qualify for the advanced courses you would need to be either a graduate of our Basic Engineering Course or have a Certificate or Diploma in Building & Construction fields (one must also must have basic AutoCAD skills.
Candidates with practical experience from a drawing office but without any formal training in Draughting may also be considered, but may have to take additional classes such as AutoCAD level 1 to make up for any missing skills.
The course is designed to take 8 months. At the end of the course, trainees do a 1 month industrial attachment in a drawing office.
